Meri Maa
वो चुप रहती हैं सब सहती है पर उफ़्फ़ नहीं करती है वो मेरी माँ
प्यार की ,त्याग की ,मोम सी मूरत ही नहीं ,मज़बूत ढाल की चादर सी हैं मेरी माँ
क्या तुमसे कहूँ क्या तुमको कहूँ ,तुम हो अजीब बस माँ
तुम बेमिसाल ,तुम लाजवाब,सूपरवुमन मेरी माँ
कुछ तो करम अच्छे मेरे ,बीते जनम के होंगे
जो इस जन्म तेरी नाल से सांसें जुड़ी मेरी माँ
कहते है आज का ये दिन तुम्हारा हैं, बस तुम्हारा माँ
मेरी तो एक पहर भी ना बीती तेरी सुध बिन माँ
ये दिन तुम्हारा है चलो इसी बात पर एक सच बतलाती हूँ तुमको आज
तुम्हारी छवि हूँ,तुमसे बनी हूँ ,ये सोच के हर घड़ी इतराती हूँ मैं माँ
ईश के आगे सिर झुका ,खोलके पोटली मुरादों वाली, क्या ख़ूब सौदागर बनी तुम माँ
सबकी ख़ुशियों के बदले में ख़ुद के लिए अनगिनत बलाएँ क़बूलीं है तुमने माँ
बहुतेरे पल है ,क्या क्या लिखू मैं माँ
अर्धानगिनी के रूप में पापा की तुम्हें
काल को ललकारने की ताक़त भी तेरी देखी है मैंने माँ
जिस पल में सब कुछ बिखर रहा था,बहुत कुछ हाथ से निकल रहा था तुम्हारे माँ
उस तूफ़ान में कश्ती का माँझी बनते हुए तुम्हें देखा है मैंने माँ
मैं जानती हूँ, चौखट भी ना लाँगि थी तुमने कभी घर की अकेले माँ
पर हर चुनौती को धर पटका तुमने जब बात हम बच्चों पर आयी माँ
जीवन के ना जाने कितने किरदारों को बाँटा तुमने हमसे माँ
कभी माँ बनके ,कभी पहनके चोला दोस्ती का याराना निभाया तुमने माँ
जनम सफल है मेरा गर थोड़ा भी तुम सा बन पाऊँ मैं
तुमसा कोई और नहीं ये जानकार भी ,कोशिश मेरी जारी है माँ
तेरे सीख की चमक कम ना हो ,अब ये ज़िम्मेदारी हमारी हैं माँ

Unfortunately I dont understand hindi totally. But it seems to be a very good poem from the other comments.
I don’t know Hindi but I did understand that it’s about mothers. They’re the gems we can never forget. Blessed are those who know/knew theirs.
