H- HARPREET SINGH BEDI Aka Rocket Singh(2009)
“Pocket Mein Rocket Hain Pocket Mein”
Starting with the jingle today I brought ROCKET SINGH, a movie released in 2009, Ranbir Kapoor has donned the get-up of a Sikh played the main protagonist, It plots on ethics-based with zero levels of hold forth at any part. I don’t know why this movie tanked at the box office. It definitely deserves to rank the top best list, one of the finest movies I have ever watched. Also, I have to mention, it is a must-watch the movie for every budding entrepreneur out there.
SYNOPSIS:-
The story is about an ambitious boy Harpreet Singh Bedi who always dreamt high. freshly graduated with 35%-40% scores but that doesn’t depress him or stop him, from dreaming. Harpreet decides to become a salesman, he gets a job at AYS Computers, an aggressively competitive company, practices to reach the target by hook or by crook, Harpreet has brought by his grandfather (Prem Chopra) he is shocked to witness the false world of sales, just to sustain in cut-throat competition. Harpreet faces so much humiliation for not achieving the targets, as his heart doesn’t allow him to cheat on customers by false promises. He decides to open his own company “Rocket Sales Corp” where he practices honesty as a daily tool, sooner his prompt and dedicated services made him the favorites of all his clients, But all hell breaks loose when Harpreet’s Boss get the clue of his new venture and all tactics of running it.

LESSONS :-
Being a former faculty of the management(MBA) School, I mentioned all the major pointers, which may be very helpful for all the budding entrepreneurs.
1). Make the honesty best policy for both the business, long term profits can not be attained by false commitment, which sales professionals use in general.
2). Don’t make mark sheets or score criteria for selection of workforce invest and hire the people who are curious for work, open to learning and primarily have a positive attitude.
3). Business is more than MONEY , Value your workforce show belief in your employees, respect their views, understand the need of the customers/clients, share fair profit with vendors also so that they feel secure while connecting with you, before profit or clients they are the ones who came to join you to take the business a step closer to success.
4). Take calculative risks, even a spiderman take the risk for higher stride.
That is all for today see you tomorrow with another crazy character. Till then have a happy reading, leave with your comments and promise to be back tomorrow!!

Thank you 🙂
I had loved this movie and especially the song pocket me rocket. I had really admired and thought of many such struggling people who don’t get the needed opportunity in life and stay where they are. Lessons learned are again well pointed out, I’m loving your series and your well thought out feedback on it via lessons.
Thank you so much Pragun 🙂
