Pure Hearted Lover Boy From Banaras KUNDAN #A2ZofBollywood

KUNDAN (DHANUSH)IN RAANJHANA

K FOR KUNDAN

Kundan is a character from the movie RAANJHANA (2013). it is the debut movie of Tamil star Dhanush. this “Kolaveri Di” boy was already marked his spot in his audience’s heart by his Kolaveri song, this movie has added one more feather to his cap. This movie will always remain close to my heart for numerous reasons like the way each and every character have been portrayed, loads of catchy dialogues and one-liners, A.R. Rehman’s music composition, it’s songs, colorfully depicting storyline of one-sided love and so on. Director Anand. L. Rai tried his best to encultured the characters in Banarasi’s tone. Movie end scene’s dialogue will leave you into deep thoughts, to rethink once again about the extremeness of both LOVE and HATE at the same time. I can’t resist myself to share one of my selfish reasons for the fondness of this movie, my emotional touch with my native place, my City SHEHER BANARAS.

STORYLINE :-

The Hindu-Tamil pandit’s son Kundan Shankar (Dhanush) has fallen for the girl at first sight in his childhood, with his next-door girl, Zoya (Sonam Kapoor). Following his love till teenage and proposing her many times with all the advice and support of his friends Murari (Mohd.Zeeshan Ayyub) and Bindiya (Swara Bhaskar), though Bindiya also loves Kundan deep inside anyways eventually Zoya accepts her proposal but they are soon caught, furious father decided to shift his girl Zoya to another city. After 8 yrs Zoya came back to her home town fails to recognize Kundan but the boy still deeply in love with her. Later Kundan got to know that Zoya loves someone at her university in Delhi named Jasjeet Singh Shergill(Abhay Deol). To show the similarity of religion Zoya presented Jasjeet as a Muslim guy in front of everyone including Kundan. Heartbroken Kundan decides to never see her face or take her name ever henceforth. with all the twists and turns finally, Kundan unfolded the mystery that Akram is actually Punjabi, a major twist in the story leaves Kundan guilty due to Jasjeet’s death, and he tries to face Zoya again, in Delhi where she has totally kept her engaged in taking Jasjeet student’s political party uprise. He goes through every test and trials and become the prey of Zoya’s hatred and revenge.

POINTS TO UNDERSTAND:-

1). Life is a precious, gifted by GOD and our parents, embrace it, don’t ruin it for your one-sided love, Likewise, Kundan in the movie many youngsters out there we must have seen somewhere around us or far who end their life in a minute by any mean must understand the value of their life and the value of the connected people like, your friends, family especially your parents who love you unconditionally, who might live just to see a smile on your face.

2). Too much of anything whether it is good or bad is dangerous for life everything else nature has offered could turn into a disaster if it is in excess, in the movie Kundan’s love for Zoya brought him to the death bed and Zoya’s hate/revenge for Kundan made her pawn of a big political conspiracy, eventually both wrecked their life completely.

3). True friends are assets, whose value does not depreciate with the time, respect their advice In the movie, Kundan has Murari to stand by his side in every low and high, Murari has alerted him every time about the selfishness of Zoya but Kundan never paid heed.

4). Don’t take advantage of a girl or boy who loves you wholeheartedly if you can’t reciprocate their feeling in the same way. Kundan knows Bindiya(childhood friend) loves him so much but Kundan loves Zoya and Zoya loves Jasjeet(college friend), except Bindiya and Jasjeet rest two of them used to take undue advantage of their respective lovers occasionally just to get their work done.

5). Don’t ignore the rest of your responsibilities towards your parents, your friends, your career and studies in the blind race of love. One must understand that Life is more than a Girl/Boy Love, go explore it from a different angle, Live it, and Love it.

Do watch this heart touching end scene’s dialogue of KUNDAN

That is all for today see you tomorrow with another substantial character. Till then have a happy reading, leave with your comments and promise to be back tomorrow!!
